I've been plagued with bouts of insomnia since I was a small child. It gets really frustrating when your parents send you to bed at eight or nine, and you're still wide awake at midnight. I started saying the Rosary in bed when I was five or six, a habit that continues to this day, nearly seventy years later. Needless to say, I've broken a LOT of rosaries over the years. The longest I've ever had one last is five years, and that was the last one I had before I bought the Guardian Combat Rosary last month.

So far, it's holding up beautifully. The first benefit I discovered is that it resists tangling. (I've lost count of how many times I've had to untangle rosaries that have tied themselves into literal knots just sitting in a pouch in my pocket!) The only drawback I've found, if you can even call it that, is that having three medals is a little awkward at first, until you get used to it. Making it so much larger than the original (I used to have one until someone stole it) is actually a plus; the tiny original was kind of hard to hold onto, even with my small hands; I have to wonder how the soldiers could. ;D

All in all, I give this one a full five stars!
