On the reverse side of the St. Joseph Medal/Challenge Coin is the image of St. Michael the Archangel. In this spiritual battle, we call out to St. Michael the Archangel. The inscription, “defénde nos in proélio,” which is Latin for “Defend us in battle,” comes from the St. Michael Prayer which is prayed after all Low Masses in the Extraordinary Form.

St. Joseph Strong Challenge Coin

Challenge Coins date back to WWI (some say as far back as the Roman Empire) and were usually given to soldiers by a commanding officer, and were meant to be a sign of camaraderie in facing the demands of some particular challenge. In most cases, it would be military units during a wartime period. We are in Spiritual Warfare!

“The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” -Psalm 29:11. And, as I said, President Ronald Reagan once said, “We maintain the peace through our strength; weakness only invites aggression.” The “Peace Through Strength Challenge” is about our resolve to become strong in God’s supernatural power; the only power capable of defeating the satanic forces of evil (Ephesians 6:10-12). Carry this coin as a constant reminder of your resolve to accept the call to become supernaturally strong; to become “St. Joseph Strong!”

The heart of St. Joseph is surrounded by lilies, and he is often depicted holding lilies. Lilies are the traditional symbol for St. Joseph being a chaste man.

We know that the sin of impurity has consumed modern man, removing the glory of God’s supernatural grace from the souls of men, leaving them powerless to be the spiritual leaders of their families, with no power to drive out demons from their homes.

Carrying this blessed (get it blessed by your priest) St. Joseph Strong Challenge Coin, grants extra supernatural strength and is a constant reminder to men to remain chaste and, therefore, “St. Joseph Strong.”

Description

I have been working on this for a very long time. I wanted to put together the "best" spiritual warfare kit possible and, if anyone knows me, they know I wanted to package it in the coolest way possible.

That's why I came up with these metal ammo cans. The idea came from the fact that I actually have real ammo cans. These are collectibles from WWII. They are sitting on a shelf in my office, and I load them with sacramentals. "What if," I said, "we were able to package Spiritual Combat Kits in something like this?" Then we started researching and came up with these VERY cool Spiritual Ammo Cans.

As you can see by the photo, there are four small metal cans that fit nicely inside the larger metal can. Each small can contains a powerful spiritual weapon for use in spiritual combat.

2) Scapular Medal (Catholic Dog Tag)

The Scapular Medal is your spiritual combat body armor. It provides protection under the "Mantle of Mary."

"Dog tags" is an informal term for the identification tags worn by military personnel, because of their resemblance to animal registration tags. The tags are primarily used for the identification of dead and wounded soldiers.

In a sense, the Scapular Medal is our "Catholic Dog Tag."  The Brown Scapular, revealed to St. Simon Stock in 1251, was a way for us, upon our death, to be identified as a child of God. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel said, “This will be the sign of the privilege that I have obtained for thee and for the children of Carmel; whoever dies clothes with this habit will be preserved from the eternal flames.”

In 1910, Pope St. Pius X introduced a Scapular Medal which may be substituted in most cases for any of the various scapulars. Valid enrollment in the (cloth) scapulars must, however, be made before the substitution. The condition for this substitution is that this medal has an image of Our Most holy 

Redeemer, Jesus Christ, showing His Sacred Heart, and the obverse that of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary.

While Holy Water is used in the rites of the church for blessing churches, altars, and other objects, Holy Water can also be bottled and taken home for personal use. The second 27 days contain excerpts from the Church Militant Field Manual: Special Forces Training for the Life in Christ.

St. Paul reminds us that we are not entering this battle unaided, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Cor 10:4). This is why this training in holiness employs the very powerful 54 Day Rosary Novena as we embrace this imperative challenge. “With men this is impossible: but with God all things are possible” (Mt 19:26). The titles for Mary on the Challenge Coin are both Regina Pacis (Queen of Peace) and Virgo Potens (Virgin Most Powerful). Fr. Chad Ripperger has asked all of us to call out to Mary under this title of Virgo Potens, as we face this fierce spiritual battle in our times. Together, the two titles for Mary point to “Peace Through Strength” which is inscribed in Latin on the Challenge Coin: “Per Virtutem Pax” (Peace Through Strength).

On the side of the coin, at twelve o’clock, is the first word the priest prays as he approaches the altar to offer the Traditional Latin Mass: “Introibo,” which translates to “I will go in.” At six o’clock, on the side of the Challenge Coin, are the words, “I’m Going In,” which is the battle cry of every warrior who accepts the challenge of putting their very life on the line in battle.

These are official "Scapular Medals," as they meet the requirements set by St. Pope Pius X ... 

In 1910, Pope St. Pius X introduced a Scapular Medal which may be substituted in most cases for any of the various scapulars. Valid enrollment in the (cloth) scapulars must, however, be made before the substitution. The condition for this substitution is that this medal has an image of Our Most Holy Redeemer, Jesus Christ, showing His Sacred Heart, and the obverse that of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary.

According to Father John Hardon’s Catholic Dictionary the scapular medal may be worn for any reason, even for reasons of convenience. The scapular medal has all the same indulgences that are associated with the cloth scapular.

And, they are DOG TAGS! “Dog tags” is an informal term for the identification tags worn by military personnel, because of their resemblance to animal registration tags. The tags are primarily used for the identification of dead and wounded soldiers. In a sense, the Scapular Medal is our “Catholic Dog Tag.” The Brown Scapular, revealed to St. Simon Stock in 1251, was a way for us, upon our death, to be identified as a child of God. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel said, “This will be the sign of the privilege that I have obtained for thee and for the children of Carmel; whoever dies clothed with this habit will be preserved from the eternal flames.”

The Holy Face Combat Chaplet™ comes from Sr. Mary of St. Peter, a Holy Carmelite Nun of Tours, France, given to her by our Lord November 15, 1843.

It is said for the "Triumph of His Holy Church, and the downfall of her enemies." It is well to recite daily to obtain this. It is for the honor of the 5 senses of Our Lord Jesus Christ. 

The first 30 beads recall the 30 years of Jesus hidden life. They are divided into 5 of 6 beads each. Each one represents one of the 5 senses. TOUCH, HEARING, SIGHT, SMELL, TASTE. Each decade is said meditating on one of the 5 senses to offer reparative homage for all the suffering and disrespect JESUS endured through the senses of His Holy Face during His passion.

St. Athanasius said the devils hate "Arise, O Lord and let they enemies be scattered .." more than any other scripture verse. He added that this always compelled them to take flight.

On each of these last three beads, think about the wounds in His holy face from the slaps He endured, and from the crown of thorns. After all of this, repeat seven times, in honor of the 7 words of Jesus from the Cross:

St. Joseph Strong Medal

This amazing St. Joseph Strong Medal is a reduced version of the very cool and powerful St. Joseph Strong Challenge Coin.

The Front of the Crucifix: Above the cruciform figure, the familiar I.N.R.I. has been inscribed with the words “Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum. “” Latin uses I instead of the English J, and V instead of U (Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm). The English translation is “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”

The Reverse of the Crucifix: On the transverse arms are the words, “Father, forgive them.” On the vertical beam of the Cross are the words, “Behold this heart which has so loved men.” An image of The Sacred Heart of Jesus is shown in the center.

1. Whoever carries on his person the Pardon Crucifix, may thereby gain an indulgence.
2. For devoutly kissing the Crucifix, an indulgence is gained.
3. Whoever says one of the following invocations before this crucifix may gain each time an indulgence: “Our Father who art in heaven, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” “I beg the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray to the Lord our God for me.”
4. Whoever, habitually devout to this Crucifix, will fulfill the necessary conditions of Confession and Holy Communion, may gain a Plenary Indulgence on the following feasts: On the feasts of the Five Wounds of our Lord, the Invention of the Holy Cross, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Immaculate Conception, and the Seven Sorrows (Dolors) of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
5. Whoever, at the moment of death, fortified with the Sacraments of the Church, or contrite of heart, in the supposition of being unable to receive them, will kiss this Crucifix and ask pardon of God for his sins, and pardon his neighbor, will gain a Plenary Indulgence.

The Front of the Crucifix: Above the cruciform figure, the familiar I.N.R.I. has been inscribed with the words “Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum. “” Latin uses I instead of the English J, and V instead of U (Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm). The English translation is “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”

The Reverse of the Crucifix: On the transverse arms are the words, “Father, forgive them.” On the vertical beam of the Cross are the words, “Behold this heart which has so loved men.” An image of The Sacred Heart of Jesus is shown in the center.
