Our Comfort Corded Scapular is a great option for keeping Our Lady’s protection with you on even your hardest-working days. Made from soft yet sturdy paracord that won’t break or fray, our 4-Way Scapular stays in place securely and comfortably no matter where Our Lord takes you.

The Comfort Corded Scapular’s design prevents the medal from flipping or getting pulled down, making it a practical alternative to chained or cloth scapulars for rugged activities. The supple paracord is knotted for easy adjustment, eliminating the need for any snaps or clasps that can cause skin irritation.

Attached with a copper or stainless steel accent is our popular 4-Way Scapular Medal in antique sterling silver. The scapular medal contains four medals in one: the St. Christopher  Medal, the Sacred Heart Medal, the Miraculous Medal, and the St. Joseph Medal.

In 1910, Pope St. Pius X introduced a Scapular Medal which may be substituted in most cases for any of the various scapulars. Valid enrollment in the cloth scapulars must, however, be made before the substitution. That is why we include a traditional brown cloth scapular to use for investiture, along with a "Brown Scapular Blessing Card."

Many active customers love this design including…

-Athletes
-Runners
-First Responders
-Outdoorsmen
-Tweens and Teens

Other Information
The Brown Scapular is a sign of our abandonment to Our Lady’s protection, who promised that those who died wearing it would be spared from eternal damnation. Far from a magic charm or “get out jail free” card, it represents our willingness to submit to the will of God and persevere in God’s grace.
The Scapular was given from Our Lady of Mount Carmel to St. Simon Stock, who was the Prior General of the order at the time of the revelation on July 16th, 1251. The Order of Carmel was enduring difficulties, and he prayed fervently to Our Lady for help. Our Lady appeared to him, holding the Brown Scapular in her hands, saying to him, “This will be the sign of the privilege that I have obtained for thee and for the children of Carmel; whoever dies clothed with this habit will be preserved from the eternal flames.”
Becoming invested in the Brown Scapular requires a priest to bless your Scapular, then enroll you in the Brown Scapular with the special prayer on the “Brown Scapular Blessing Card,” included with purchase.
