Other Information

The first rosaries of this type were made in 1916 and were issued to military chaplains for distribution to members of the United States Armed Services during World War I. They were called Pullchain rosaries because the links resemble the pullchains used on lamps during that time period. The rosaries were thought to be strong enough to survive rough treatment on the battlefield.

St. Joseph Strong (Silver) 3 Years of Ownership

Yes thats right. I have had my St. Joseph Strong Rosary Beads in colour silver (not sterling silver plated to be specific) for 3 years now and I am overall very happy with them. While I considered some of the paracord Rosaries out there, but while handsome they are not practical and not maintenance free, imo. These Rosaries are portable, wearable, classic and durable. I chose them as they are Official Swiss Guard Issue, and that the crucifix and medals are all made in Italy and are in Latin (except the crucifix is in English, but can be found in Latin also).

I am about to purchase my 3rd pair in the Swiss Guard issue gunmetal colour as I have heard it is breathtaking, masculine and because subdued colours are in at the moment (my second was the standard military Rosary in antique bronze, I gifted to a family memeber). But these original silver ones will always be my favourite as they are classic and beautiful; and I was lucky to meet our Parish Bishop who blessed them for me. I looked at many crucifixes and Rosaries. The detail on this 1906 pardon crucifix is incredible - it is the best and most realistic you will find imo and it is made in Italy. I looked at it under a loup and you can see the corpus has hair, crown of thorns and body muscles; and is 3D in nature. The head sits to the side and the arms are realistically extended. This particular Crucifix is also 2 piece, many are oen piece to save money and you lose 3D symetry. In other words they make to corpus, then they pin it to the cross. Is also has a foot step, where many do not, not to mention the aformentioned details. I have heard the Italian plating on the Zamac metal is among the best there is and will last for decades. I believe it. The crucifix has not lost any of its shine despite regular handing and has never been cleaned!

The only negative I can mention in the jump ring connecting the Crucifix to the bead loup begin to split/ separate which although it had not could see the crucifix come off. I am seeking to replace all the jump rings possibly with thicker jump rings and I may use titanium ones.

I found the service from RCG to be generous, prompt and communication is efficient and good too.

Strong, stable metal rosary, perfect for spiritual combat

I love the little purse that it came in and the craftsmanship involved in its manufacturing. The item was well wrapped. I love metal rosaries, because fighting a spiritual war like the one the world is enduring now is crucial. I’ve had other beautiful rosaries, but the metal used in the links is not durable or hard wearing like these. Needless to say the other rosaries broke, so I looked elsewhere for stronger rosaries, and my guardian angel led me to your website.
They give me a feeling of confidence and reassurance. . Thank you so much. They were well worth waiting for.

Above expectations, a true inspiration

I love my St. Joseph rosary, it’s beautiful, feels great in my hands. I will consecrate myself to St. Joseph tomorrow and I couldn’t possibly find a better way to let my brothers and sisters in our community know, just how important St. Joseph is to me. It’s a real work of art. Thank you
