What’s Covered (Lifetime)
Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
Structural failures under normal use (e.g., rosary chain/links separating, jump rings opening, centerpieces or crucifixes detaching, clasps failing).
Stitching or hardware failures on pouches under normal use.
Remedy: Repair or replace with the same or comparable model/color at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
Normal wear & patina (finish wear, scratches, leather scuffs, aging of coatings, discoloration from skin oils/chemicals).
Loss, theft, or accidental damage (crushed, run over, cut, melted, pet-chewed, etc.).
Damage from improper use or harsh chemicals (cleaners, solvents, chlorine, saltwater exposure, extreme heat).
Unauthorized repairs/modifications or non-RCG components added after purchase.
Counterfeit items or products not purchased from Roman Catholic Gear® or an authorized partner.
How to File a Claim
Gather details: Order number (if available), product name/color, approximate purchase date.
Take photos: Clear shots of the issue and the whole item (front/back).
We review & respond: If approved, we’ll share next steps for repair or replacement.
If your exact color/model is unavailable, we’ll offer a comparable replacement of equal value.
Proof of Purchase & Shipping
Proof of purchase: Order number, receipt, gift receipt, or reasonable ownership proof (photos + approximate date/where purchased).
Shipping: For approved warranty claims, we cover replacement outbound shipping within the U.S. We may request that you return or recycle the damaged item; we’ll provide instructions if needed.
International: We’ll provide options for the most reasonable replacement method to your location.
Lifetime Guarantee — FAQ
Do finishes/coatings fall under the guarantee?
Cosmetic wear (patina, minor scratches, finish lightening) is normal and not considered a defect. Structural failures are covered.
What if I received a gift?
You’re covered. Provide any proof of purchase you can (gift receipt, the purchaser’s name/email, or approximate timing + where it was bought).
Can I get a different color or upgrade?
Replacements match the original as closely as possible. If you’d like to upgrade or change color, we’ll share options (price differences may apply).
Do I need to send the product back?
Sometimes. For certain issues we may request a return for inspection; other times photos are sufficient. We’ll let you know after review.
Is normal prayer use “covered”?
Yes. Our guarantee is built around daily use in normal conditions. Abuse/misuse isn’t covered.
